Spring has sprung and Elgin Young Professional Network’s raffle basket donation drive is springing into high gear in advance of our Hula for Moola Scholarship Fundraiser on Thursday, April 10 at 6pm at Chooch’s Pizzeria, 64 S. Grove Avenue in downtown Elgin.
Thanks to the generosity of several local businesses and individuals, we have assembled some “hula-rific” prizes for our raffle baskets, including a Beauty Basket & $100 Gift Card from Fox River Spa & Salon, a pair of tickets to a future Elgin Symphony Orchestra concert, restaurant gift cards from In the Neighborhood Deli, Domani Café, Colonial Café, Rainforest Café and others.
Additionally several themed raffle baskets will also be available, including a Man Basket (insert your own punchline here), Office Basket, Wine Basket, Easter Basket, Pet Basket, Movie Basket, Blackhawks Basket and, of course, a Hawaii Basket.
EYPN is still seeking additional donations of products, services, gift cards and other goodies. If you or your organization would like to make a donation, please contact Hula for Moola Raffle Coordinator Christina Pearson at firstname.lastname@example.org. Mahalo!
Our “latitude-changing” local luau also features a cash bar, free pizza, goodies from the recent Illinois Pro Start Competition title winning Clumsy Chef students, Hawaiian music, and tropical-themed games and activities – including the inaugural Hula-Hoopla Challenge!
Proceeds of the Hula for Moola fundraiser benefit EYPN’s scholarship program supporting Elgin High School Clumsy Chef students attending Elgin Community College’s Culinary Program.
